John has been a follower of Jesus Christ for over 30 years and prayer has been a core discipline the Holy Spirit has taught him to cultivate and live into. He has been led to do the work of intercessory prayer in a variety of ministry settings and as a discipline for daily living. As a student of the original historical documents of Christianity and Judaism, he has an intense interest in understanding the truths they reveal about life on the planet Earth and how to best live into them as a servant of Jesus Christ.
It is his hope that sharing his journey and what the Holy Spirit has taught him will fill your heart with a stronger desire for a deeper prayer life.
John Pearson is an amateur writer who mostly writes short stories. He has had an interest in writing a story about the birth of John the Baptist for several years. In 2011 he decided NaNoWriMo would be a good experience to get the first draft completed.
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, he has lived in Lexington, Ky since August 1995. He is a Systems Analyst for the Unified Trust Company. He has worked in database software development since 1998.
John enjoys creating music with his guitars and is currently recording rough tracks of music he has written over the years and new music he is currently writing. He also enjoys the University of Kentucky basketball and Ohio State football.
